A year ago today.

It’s amazing how fast time goes by. THEN: Just learning to sit up on her own.  No hair.  4 teeth.  15lbs. 25 inches long. Wearing 3-6 month clothing. 5 bottles a day. Sleeping 10 hours a night. NOW: Barely able to keep up with her.  Loves to run, crawl on the couches, chase after the [...]

Music Monday: The Oscars

I usually enjoy watching the Oscar’s but with my schedule the past week, I was unable to give it my full attention.  A paper, exam and two care plans due in the next five days.  YIKES!  BUT, next week is spring break, so at least there is some light at the end of the tunnel. [...]

Music Monday: Get Moving!

Good morning! Another Monday is here. I can’t believe that it is almost Monday. I re-started by Couch-2-5K last week and I can honestly say that I’ve missed it. I realized that when I started it in December, I picked a really bad time, with finals right around the corner and Christmas vacation. We have [...]

Music Monday: Welcome!

With all the time I spend in the car now commuting to Nashville, I have LOTS of time on my hands to listen to music.  I have always LOVED music.  My mom is very musically inclined and went to college for music and is an amazing piano player (I miss hearing her play).  I was [...]

Here’s your sign…..

If you’re happy and you know it!

I really wish I had more time to write, but for now this is going to have to do.  One of these days, I will get the chance to catch everyone up on the craziness (both figuratively and literally….I’m in my psych rotation right now).  Until then, enjoy the cuteness, and please ignore Reagan popping [...]

  • Hi! My name is Erin and welcome to my little slice of the internet. I'm a 29 year old OIF veteran, lover of Patriot football, Zumba addict and full time student. I started this blog to keep my friends and family informed on our growing family. My husband is on active duty and the Army has us stationed far away from our families.

In August 2010 I began my graduate studies at Vanderbilt University. I am studying to become a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and plan on graduating in August 2012. It has proven to be a tough exercise in time management and balance, but anything worth it requires hard work!!

    Thanks for stopping by!
