Things We Love!
I love the Tommee Tippy Explora line. Their sippy cups are graduated depending on the age of your child and don’t leak, something that we found IS a problem with other sippy cups. The only time we get a leak is if there is any residual liquid in the tip that is past the valve. They are really easy to clean and Reagan loves them! Plus, did I mention that they DON’T LEAK!!
Uppa Baby Vista Stroller - This stroller was a big source of contention between my husband and I. It doesn’t come cheap, but I knew that it would be a great investment and something that we would have for all of our kids. Initially he was VERY upset at me for spending so much, but now he says it is the best money we spent in preparation for Reagan’s arrival. It is an AWESOME stroller and their customer service is great. We had an issue with our frame a few months ago. I sent them an email with pictures and a few days later a brand new frame arrived at our front door! The bassinet is a great feature when they are smaller and the reversible stroller compartment is also very handy.
Ergo Baby Carrier – We decided to buy this carrier while on vacation in Washington D.C. Since Reagan has gotten so big, carrying her in the front carrying Baby Bjorn isn’t an option anymore. Our aching backs thank us! This baby carrier has three options: front, back and side. It is REALLY comfortable, machine washable and comes is lots of different colors.
Foam Play Mats – These are a must for us. We have wood floors which as any other parent knows, are not very forgiving. We have used these for months. Now that she is crawling around, they are under her baby jail.
Vtech Winnie the Pooh Slide and Learn Storybook – This is another toy that Reagan will play with for a LONG time. Each “page” has a part that slides up and down or left and right. As she turns the “pages”, Pooh talks and sings. It is an adorable toy.
Leap Frog Learn and Groove Musical Table – Reagan loves anything that makes noise. The great thing about this toy is that the legs are removable, which was convenient to Reagan becoming mobile. Now that she has figured out how to pull up on anything and everything, we have popped the legs back in. This occupies her just long enough in the mornings for me to make a pot of coffee, empty the dishwasher, make Ash’s lunch and SOMETIMES even eat breakfast!
Jeep Liberty Renegade Walker – This just might be Reagan’s favorite. She loves chasing after the dogs in this. We only use this downstairs, for obvious reasons. It also has four non-skid friction pads for child safety. These pads prevent your baby from falling down the stairs. We LOVE this!!
Baby Einstein Discover and Play Entertainer – This play center has so much on it. This is also one of my go-to toys if I need twenty minutes or so to get some cleaning or laundry done. The seat spins around and when the little bottom feet are pushed up, the whole play center moves.
One Step Ahead Sun Smarties Infant Beach Cabana – We have used this many times this summer. It is great at the beach or in our yard. Since Reagan is so fair, it keeps her out of the sun, but still able to play. One Step Ahead has great stuff!
Huggies Limited Edition Jean Diapers – These definitely AREN’T a necessity, but are so darn cute! We have had a few hot days so far this summer and Reagan looks so cute crawling around in just her denim diapers. They also look cute under sundresses. I hear that they are only around for a few months though, so get them while you can!

Plum Organics – These little bags of pureed fruit and vegetables have been a life saver the last few weeks with all the traveling we have been doing. I make all of Reagan’s food and Plum Organics seems to be the closest thing to home made. The ingredient list is short (always a good sign) with no added sugar, juice, flavor or colors. I also love that they come in a child-proof, convenient pouch. They also have pureed prunes, which is a HUGE help with the hot weather and baby constipation. Just sayin’! Cant wait to try out some of their other products designed for toddlers. Definitely check it out!
Baby Bjorn Baby Carrier Original - These can be a little pricey (about $54 on Amazon) but are well worth it. I still carry Reagan in this when I do my grocery shopping. I just don’t feel comfortable propping her car seat on the shopping cart. It’s also nice to use when we go to the dog park or other place where stroller accessibility is questionable. Plus, Reagan loves it!
Gerber Pre-folded Birdseye Cloth Diaper- These have been awesome to have around. Initially we bought only 12, but over the course of the last six months, we have ended up going out and getting two more packs, bringing the house total to 36! We use these as spit-up rags. They are nice and big and super absorbent.
Aquaphor – AWESOME moisturizer! I use it mostly on Reagan’s cheeks, my chapped lips and cuticles. I don’t like the way it feels when you put it all over your hands. I’ve never been one for having greasy feeling hands from moisturizer.
Fisher-Price Ocean Wonders Sooth and Glow Seahorse – This little stuffed animal is so cute and Reagan loves it. The belly glows and plays soft lullibies for six minutes (why six? who knows…). She loves to look at the glowing belly and it lulls her to sleep. Now for the disclaimer….this only works if she is in the mood. If she is already riled up, forget about it….
RaZbaby Raz Berry Teether – Since Reagan cut teeth so early (3 1/2 months!) she didn’t have the hand eye coordination to hold a teether in her mouth. This pacifier/teether was awesome. She loves it even more now that she has teeth. I think that she likes the way that the little nubbys feel when she bites and drags her teeth across it. LOVE!
